UI Development
One of my core responsibilities on the Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai project team at DeNA was designing and developing the in-game UI, including key components like the skill tree interface. I worked closely with the technical team in Japan to bring the UI system to life using Unity's UI toolkit, ensuring both visual clarity and functional responsiveness.
Responsibilities:
-
Collaborated with the Japanese development team to deliver polished UI layouts using Unity’s native UI tools
-
Designed and implemented the full skill tree interface, optimizing for clarity, responsiveness, and player progression visibility
-
Conducted QA testing using Unity UPR across five Android devices; collected performance data and provided actionable feedback to improve cross-device rendering and frame rates
